Manager Process Intelligence
Job Purpose
To plan, lead and manage all activities of Business Process Management, Optimization and Integration function in order to ensure effective capturing of business needs and IT requirements and to evaluate, acquire, implement, sustain and enhance IT solutions to facilitate achievement of process excellence aligned with business goals and overall IT strategy
Key Accountabilities
Day- to-day operations
Manages and direct the day-to-day operations of process intelligence section to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures
Business Process Management
Implements, maintains and applies state of the art business process management solution (tools and methodologies) in order to develop and manage integrated EGA business process model and library.
Applies business process management solution in line with business requirements to map EGA business processes across business units and systems in order to identify dependencies and correlations between different KPIs
Integrates with Business Intelligence function to implement, maintain and apply state of the art process intelligence solution for the purpose of providing process analytics and monitoring
Applies process intelligence solution in line with business requirements to provide visibility of business process execution and efficiency, monitor Key Performance Indicators, understand end-to-end process behavior across all systems and identify process deficiencies
Applies process intelligence solution in line with business requirements to provide process benchmarking and identify opportunities for implementation of best practices.
Applies process intelligence solution in line with business requirements to provide an early warning system and ability to detect pattern, trends and exceptions in EGA processes
Applies process intelligence solution in line with business requirements to monitor the alignment of operational business processes with strategic business goals and to give the visibility required by regulatory compliance
Process Integration
Applies business knowledge and application skills to identify and resolve process integration issues, identify and promote process integration improvements and effectively integrate new technology into existing EGA business processes
Leads the conducting of impact analysis of new business requirements on existing information systems and current business processes; leads the development of business cases for the acquisition and/or upgrades of systems as per the changing business/operational requirements, for review by senior management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
Experience Required
10 years’ experience in IT Planning, IT consulting, application development and support activities with at least 6 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities
Experience working in an end user and vendor (service provider) environment
A proven track record of successful project management in the relevant field
Ability to manage vendors to ensure conformance to project timelines and costs
Job Specific Skills
In-depth knowledge of the aluminum manufacturing sector and EGA’s products and business strategies
Full understanding of software development life cycle
Good knowledge of business processes of the organization
Ability to understand user requirements and provide solutions
Detailed knowledge of principles, policies, procedures, and internal processes pertaining to IT architecture and systems planning
Sound knowledge of latest technological innovations related to the industry
Project management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
