ROLE PURPOSE:
The Role Holder is responsible for the timely collection of landing and parking fees and passenger service taxes throughout Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Bateen airports. The Role Holder ensures the accurate input of information into the Oracle system and for processing invoices, debit, credit and charge notes for airline operators and for following up late payments.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- +4 years experience in aeronautical revenue (costs, type of aircraft, registration information)
- Diploma or degree level qualification in accounting
- English – written and spoken
- Arabic – written and spoken
- MS Excel advanced
- MS Word
- Oracle System data entry and reporting
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Prepare listing of landing and parking fees for airlines using Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Airports, enter data into the Oracle system checking and confirming accuracy with Air Traffic Control.
- Prepare invoices for fee charging of routine and irregular flights, issue credit and debit notes and ensuring both hard copy and Oracle is update and accurate.
- Check if payments for landing and parking fees and passenger taxes have been received within 7days of issuing invoices and follows up with airlines for outstanding payments preparing a monthly Statement of Accounts and Revenue Reports for Abu Dhabi and Al Ain airport.
- Check total list of passenger service charges every month to ensure correct aircraft registration and interpretation of exceptions. Issue invoices to airlines according to the list. Prepares credit/debit notes in the event of a discrepancy and updates the Oracle system with revised details.
- Issue charge notes for VIP landing and parking, according to fee exception policy (not official policy). Follows up after 7 days with operator or private company for outstanding payments.
