Position Summary
The Senior Executive Assistant provides administrative support to a member of the HCT management team with core responsibilities consisting of: calendar management; coordinating travel arrangements; and preparing various forms of communications. The incumbent receives and prioritizes all incoming correspondence and works with relevant stakeholders to ensure that issues are investigated fully and brought to successful resolution. In this role, the incumbent is expected to deal with items of a confidential nature and to interact appropriately at all levels of the organization and with VIPs visiting the HCT.
Requirements
In support of Emiratization, HCT may exercise flexibility with the experience or education requirement in order to recruit UAE National candidates who show potential for success in the role.
A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline is required
A minimum of 3 years of experience working in role supporting a member of the management team
Strong verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels of the organization
An understanding of protocol requirements when interacting with VIPsHighly developed organizational skills are required
Experience working within a post-secondary educational setting is desirable
Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic is an asset
Senior Officer - Finance

Position Summary
The Senior Finance Officer works within the Finance and Administration Department to provide support within the areas of Purchasing, Fixed Asset Management and Supplies, Budget Management, and Financial Reporting. The incumbent plays a key role in the planning and development of new systems and procedures, and in the provision of financial data to assist management in decision-making processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant discipline is required
Should have minimum 3 years of related experience in Finance, Accounting, Administration or Procurement
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
High degree of computer literacy and demonstrated ability to integrate technology in the workplace
Experience with ERP packages, preferably Oracle-based systems (e.g. - Banner)

Senior Officer - Planning

Position Summary
The Senior Planning Officer is responsible for liaising with campuses on their facility plans and master plans for educational programs, and for the alignment of these plans with the HCT's strategic plans. Under the supervision of the Head of Planning, the incumbent communicates HCT's plans and reports with relevant campus officers, government agencies, ministries and departments, and coordinates relevant government agency requests on infrastructure planning with the relevant colleges and departments. The Senior Officer participates effectively in the planning activities of HCT with the specific role of ensuring alignment with government agency requirements.
Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree in a field related to Architecture, Infrastructure Planning, Master Planning or Civil Engineering is required
A minimum 2 years of experience in a role coordinating communication
Strong communication skills with the proven capacity to draft formal responses in Arabic to government agencies and ministries using appropriate protocols
A demonstrated ability to integrate technology into the work environment
Superior interpersonal skills as demonstrated by the ability to form professional relationships at all levels within the organization and with appropriate external stakeholders
Well-developed organizational, communication and presentation skills.
Prior experience of liaising with external agencies in the UAE would be advantageous

Officer - Procurement and Contracts

Position Summary
The Procurement and Contracts Officer is a customer service oriented position supporting all HCT directorates and the Purchasing and Contract Services team with respect to procurement, contract management, vendor management, asset management, archive management, legal and other ad hoc requests that are assigned by management . The incumbent is the first point of contact for answering, advising and replying to departmental and help desk inquiries. Furthermore, the incumbent serves as the first point of contact for all visitors to the department.
Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration a relevant discipline is required
A minimum 3 years of progressive work experience as a purchasing clerk, customer support officer or office coordinator/management role
An ability to provide directorates and PCS team with outstanding customer care and service at all times
Procurement systems, Asset Management, Archiving, Vendor Management, or IT experience is desirable
A high degree of competency using Microsoft office including: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Service Manager
Experience with Banner Finance/Procurement is desirable
A general understanding of business, accounting, procurement, and IT
Must be able to work within tight timelines while maintaining accuracy and efficiency of assigned tasks
Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic is desirable but not a requirement
