IT Engineer - Systems (ITESYS) Jobs at this level are involved in the installation, automation and maintenance of Information and operating systems that best meet business needs. They are expected to suggest new solutions to facilitate the Support Team to automate their work more efficiently and adapt new technologies to manage and admin systems more efficiently The main functions shall include, and not be limited to: • Ensure the Servers are running with latest available patches and Service Packs. • Assist in the development of related procedures and processes. • Provides guidance, advice and technical back up to junior colleagues to assist in their development. • Analyze problems, develop creative solutions and assess risks/benefits. In addition, develop strategies for resolving them and preventing future occurrences. • Analyze system performance records in order to determine the need for repair or replacement. • Ensure the System State Backup of servers are taken to recover servers from crashes or other data loss.
